Entry Ticket:  
On the whiteboards, write down something you want to know about writing/creating a blog.  (feel free to talk to your elbow partner)

Learning Targets: 

• The students will be introduced to teachingbooks.net and find one link that is helpful to their level of teaching. 
• The students will create a blog using blogger.com.  
• The students will get their first two posts online.  
• The students will get questions about blogging answered. 
• the students will email spoling@ the link to your blog so I can follow you and add you to my reader.  

Homework Target:

• The students will continue to think about how we teach by reviewing learning theory see the assignment post.  (and will share their discoveries, ideas and thinking in two blog posts).

      secondary ed- raise your hand when you have linked to the article for how this is useful for you. 
      elementary ed- raise your hand when you have linked to info about an author or illustrator you like.

• Create a blog at Blogger.com/home
• Title of the blog
• address for the blog
• template or background set
• Gadgets: about me (and the short blog one)
• subscribe by feeder 
• pick one other one.
• 1st post:  favorite verse and share a link to your about me
